What we collect

Contact form ("Send us your script!"). If you use the form, we receive the first name, last name, email address, and message you submit. We use it only to read and reply to your inquiry.

Email. If you email us, we keep your message and address to reply and to manage any resulting project.

Newsletter. If you sign up with the email box in the site footer, we collect your email address and store it in our Squarespace account, and we use it to send you the newsletter. You can ask us to remove it at any time by emailing polocreativeco@protonmail.com. We also publish on Substack, which is a separate service with its own privacy policy; signing up there is handled by Substack, not by this site.

Website technology. This site is hosted on Squarespace. Squarespace may set cookies and collect standard technical and usage information (such as browser type, pages viewed, and approximate location) to operate and secure the site and provide basic analytics. We do not run advertising trackers on this site.

Embedded third-party tools. Some pages load content from third parties, such as the audio demo players (provided by VoiceZam) and media hosted on Squarespace's content network. These providers may receive your IP address and browser details when the page loads, under their own privacy policies.

Spam protection. Our forms use Google reCAPTCHA, which is subject to the Google Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.

How we use information

To respond to inquiries, deliver voice-over and audiobook services, operate and improve the site, and keep it secure. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it except with the service providers named above who help us run the site, or where the law requires it.

YouTube API Services

Polo Creative Co. may use YouTube API Services to upload and manage videos on its own YouTube channel. Where we do, we are bound by the YouTube Terms of Service, and the Google Privacy Policy applies to data handled through those services. We use the API only to manage our own channel's content. We do not collect, store, sell, or share personal data about YouTube viewers through the API. Access we grant to our own Google account can be revoked at any time at Google security settings.

Third-party links and embeds

This site links to services such as Audible, Spotify, YouTube, and Substack. Those services have their own privacy practices, which we don't control.

Children

This site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.

Your choices

You can ask us to see, correct, or delete information you sent us by emailing polocreativeco@protonmail.com.

Changes

We may update this policy and will change the date above when we do.
